Aircel Network has launched it’s 3G services in many places around the country, and the plans and pricing is different at every state. As with every other network providing the 3G network and data plans, there is no unlimited plan with the Aircel 3G service. And in accordance to the plan being given, the speed of download differs.
Here are the different 3G plans that are available with Aircel in Andhra Pradesh –
- 92 Plan – The 92 plan costs Rs. 92 and it gives you 100MB of data download, with a 30 days validity. The speed of 3G internet given with this plan is 3.6 MBPs.
- 202 Plan – The 202 plan costs Rs. 202 and it gives you 250MB of data download, with a 30 days validity. The speed of 3G internet given with this plan is 3.6 MBPs.
- 602 Plan – The 602 plan costs Rs. 602 and it gives you 1GB of data download, with a 30 days validity. The speed of 3G internet given with this plan is 3.6 MBPs.
- 975 Plan – The 975 plan costs Rs. 975 and it gives you 2.5GB of data download, with a 30 days validity. The speed of 3G internet given with this plan is 7.2 MBPs.
How to activate Aircel 3G service –
The Aircel 3G service can be activated on the same SIM you are using right now, and you just need to send an SMS for the activation. Send an SMS as START 3G to 121 from your Aircel SIM, if you have a 3G supporting device, and the service would be activated within 48 hours, and you would be receiving the settings.
I was using Samsung Galaxy S to test the 3G service, and it took up the 3G network without any prompting or additional APN settings. Will update the post with the APN settings, once we receive any settings SMS from Aircel.
