aircel wifiAircel has launched the Wi-Fi hotspot service where users can browse the internet with the wireless internet connection provided by Aircel on various selected location all around in a few cities as of now. The Wi-Fi can be accessed through any of the Wi-Fi enabled devices like mobile phones, internet tablets, netbooks, laptops etc. Of course the plans would come with a limited browsing limit, it would be handy when people are in need of internet connection in urgency to check any mails, to locate any place etc. There are many Wi-Fi hotspots already available, and you can securely browse the web, with a high speed of up to 1 Mbps.

Aircel Wi-Fi Tariff

The tariff depends on the time usage and the data usage. The tariff is as follows –

  • Rs. 15 per hour – Speed of 256 Kbps – Usage limit of 50MB – Valid for 1 hour
  • Rs. 25 for 24 hours – Speed of 512 Kbps – Usage limit of 100MB – Valid for 1 day
  • Rs. 249 for 1 month – Speed of 1 Mbps – Usage limit of 3GB – Valid for 30 days

Aircel Wi-Fi Hotspot Locations

The Aircel Wi-Fi hotspot locations are available all across the country in a few cities as of now, and the cities which are covered right now are Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Haryana, Maharashta, West Bengal, and Punjab. A detailed list for various places and hotspots would be shared soon.

Registration and How to Connect to Aircel Wi-Fi

Go to the nearest Aircel Wi-Fi Zone and turn the Wi-Fi On in your laptop or mobile.
Click on New User in the Welcome screen shown to you.
Enter the details with your Aircel mobile number to get the Username and password to get the details via SMS.
You need to use the information you got via SMS, to login and use the Aircel Wi-Fi.

Aircel is on a process of expanding this network and the Wi-Fi availability to many other cities and areas, and the Wi-Fi connections are pretty faster than that of the 2G and GPRS networks of any mobile networks.
Note – You need to have an Aircel mobile number, and also sufficient balance to use the Aircel Wi-Fi because if you are a prepaid customer, the cost would be cut from your mobile balance based on the plan you choose. If you are on a postpaid user, the amount of plan gets added to your postpaid monthly bill.
