Apple iPhone 5 Leaked Specifications, Release Date

Apple has always been innovative and at their best in launching their new products. With the iPhone 4 last year, there were barely a few mobile phones that could hit it hard. But with the iPhone 5 rumors being spread, this is a sensational news. It is rumored to be one of the fastest mobile phones ever, with the new processor and the other internal specifications.

Here are the leaked news and rumors related to the iPhone 5 –
Release Date – As Apple Inc. always does, the best of the Apple products are launched during their World Wide Developers Conference, and this time it is going to be on 6th June, 2011. But some internal news say that Apple is going to launch only the advancements in software and not hardware in the WWDC. So, as most of the iPhone launches are done in the late June or Early July time, expect the same time this year too.

Design and specifications –
It is said that the glass back of the iPhone would be replaced with a metal one, which would also work as the iPhone antenna for a better signal reception. A month back it was also reported that the iPhone 5 would be having a 4-inch screen, just like the Galaxy S and the screen should be still having a retina display.

Another rumor was about A cheaper, smaller iPhone 5 – an iPhone nano. One more goes saying A white iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 is going to have a faster processor, the dual core processor that the iPad 2 has, and a higher memory capacity. There are even rumors about a multi core processor that would help in making things faster, and helping in optimizing the battery usage at the same time.

Support for the 4G LTE Networks is also expected with the newer version of the iPhone. Though the carriers have not shown any news about it, and AT&T has not launched it’s 4G service yet, still the rumors don’t stop. Camera would surely be enhanced, with at least 8-megapixel camera to come in the next iPhone version.

Confirmed news: The iPhone 5 would be a world phone, with support to both CDMA and GSM networks worldwide. Verizon Chief Financial Officer Fran Shammo has confirmed that the iPhone 5 is going to be a world phone.
