Beetel Magiq is a 3G Android tablet device launched in India with a quite low price tag, but the previous version of Android, i.e. Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The Magiq is a basic tablet, with an appreciable design but will have an Android interface porting the OS that was made for the mobile phones, but still it is pretty good and competing well enough to the Android tablets from Archos, which too had the Froyo OS.

Here are a few features of the Magiq tablet –

  • Android 2.2 Froyo OS
  • 7-inch touchscreen with a screen resolution 800 x 480 pixels
  • 1GHz qualcomm snapdragon processor
  • 2 cameras – Rear camera with 2MP quality, and front VGA camera
  • 3G connectivity

One of the best and advantageous features of this Magiq tablet is the 3G connectivity using the 3G SIM card from any network in India, and this is where the Archos tablet devices would fall back. It is priced at Rs. 8900 in the Indian market and is available at a few places already.
The Magiq comes with the 8GB internal memory and a 2200 mAh battery that is good enough to provide some good hours of usage.
It won’t be able to compete with the larger and better devices like the HTC Puccini and Motorola Xoom, but still is a nice option for users who want to have a touch on large screens and Android OS together.
