The new Facebook chat which was never liked by the members, as it showed just a limited number of friends online although many others were online and were always confused whether the person they wanted to contact to, was online or not. Many had set up options to use the old Facebook chat, and opt to shut the new chat sidebar down. But we noticed that now the limitation of number of online friends in sidebar is lifted. We see a new section with scroll down, where more online friends are shown in the list.
Here is how it appears, and if it hasn’t come already for you, then you need to wait as it always happens, the feature rolls out for everyone in a few days time.
Unlike the previous one, the scroll bar is seen on the right side of the chat bar which can be used to scroll down to the long list of online friends, and some offline/mobile using contacts are also shown, based on the importance and the recent conversations.
The recent changes made by Facebook have been taken more critically by the users as many claimed that the Phone number visibility in the Facebook contacts list or Phonebook has taken a question on their account privacy, and the chat list had only a few contacts shown as online, but the change made now looks a lot better. Ain’t it?
