uninor gprsUninor has one of the least priced GPRS plans among the various mobile networks, and there are many shifting to it due to that. We are not sure of how the network availability in various cities is, but still as many people have subscribed to the GPRS plans with the name My Connect. Here are the plans available for the GPRS in Uninor network –

  • My Connect 9 – Cost of the pack is Rs. 9, gives Free usage upto 60 MB with a validity of 3 days.
  • My Connect 90 – Cost of the pack is Rs. 90, gives Free usage upto 3 GB with a validity for 30 days.
  • There are even single day plans available for a limited 30MB of usage.

Homepage: www.google.com (not compulsory to use google, you can use any URL)
Proxy: Enabled
Ip address: 10.58.10.58
Port: 8080
Linger time: 90
DNS – Not enabled

Advanced settings:
APN: uninor
Login: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank

Before playing around with the above settings, you should give a try with SMS, and try to download the automatic settings from Uninor. You can download them by sending an SMS as ALL to 58355. If Uninor identifies your phone, and if it has the settings ready, then you would receive them and just need to save for the packet data connection.
To connect to the internet on your computer using the Nokia phone and Uninor network, you would need the Nokia PC suite, and in the One touch access settings you need to set the Access point name as uninor.
