LG electronics is going to use a new logo for their Optimus line of smartphones, and they have unveiled a new logo which looks a lot simpler and that is what the company has focused on. LG said that they have brought in the new logo as a move “reflecting the company’s reinforced brand leadership.”. And this new design, as the company says, is to “accentuate the metallic edges and slim shape of the 2012 smartphone lineup unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress.”
LG is set to launch few new great devices which would include the thin smartphone which is just in rumors as of now, and there have been rumors about the device with a quad-core processor, and a 3D device too. LG said its new Optimus logo “embodies modern and seamless simplicity, which is core for LG’s design philosophy for mobile devices.”

While the South Korean company was late to the smartphone party, the company has begun to capitalise on growth in the market through its Optimus line, which includes a device with LTE connectivity. However, the one-time number three handset vendor saw this spot taken by Apple in the fourth quarter of 2011, with the US vendor benefitting from the introduction of its iPhone 4S.
Earlier LG had said that the company has sold more than 1 million Optimus LTE smartphones, and the device is available in the US, South Korea, Canada and Japan.
