Airtel 3G Plans in Delhi, Tariff and Activation Details

Airtel 3G comes with various plans in New Delhi, where the plans are based on the time frame and depending on the volume usage. Customers can choose any one depending on their requirement. The packs are named Sachet, Standard and FlexiShield under each of which various plans are listed. Here are the different plans of 3G in Delhi region –

Based on Pack Types –

Sachet Pack –

The sachet pack doesn’t have any plans for the postpaid users, and only the prepaid users can use any one of the plans in the Sachet packs.

• Rs. 11 pack gives a free data usage of 10 MB and it is valid for 1 day.
• Rs. 65 pack gives a free data usage of 65 MB with a validity of 3 days.
• Rs. 49 pack gives a free usage for 30 minutes, and after that you would be charged Rs. 3 every minute.

For the first 2 plans in the Sachet pack, Post expiry of free data usage, browsing charges of 30p/20KB will apply.

Standard Pack –

• Rs. 99 pack for Prepaid users and Rs. 100 pack for Postpaid users gives a free data usage of 100 MB and this is valid for 30 days.
• Rs. 200 pack for both Prepaid and Postpaid users gives a free data usage of 250 MB and valid for 30 days.
• Rs. 450 pack for both Prepaid and Postpaid users gives a free data usage of 600 MB and is valid for 30 days.
• Rs. 750 pack for both Prepaid and Postpaid users gives a free data usage of 2 GB and is valid for 30 days.

For all the plans in the standard pack, Post expiry of free data usage, browsing charges of 30p/20KB will apply.

FlexiShield Pack –

Rs. 675 pack for both Prepaid and Postpaid users gives a free data usage of 1.25 GB. After 1.25GB, VBC of 1p/100KB upto a max shield (amount) of Rs 2000. Post hitting the shield value, enjoy free unlimited browsing at 20Kbps speed, validity 30 days.

Special Packages based on usage volume –
There is a special 3G Value Pack costing Rs. 21 for Prepaid users, and is valid for 21 days and the cost of data usage is 15p/20KB. The same charges apply for Postpaid users where they need to pay Rs. 30 for the pack, and it is valid for 30 days.
Pay as you go plan, comes with no rental and no validity time. Activating this pack, you can browse the web by paying 30p/20KB data usage anytime.

Video calling – 5p/sec charge for the video calling, valid on anything – Local, STD and International calls.

How to activate 3G?

To subscribe to a 3G pack that suits you, SMS 3G to 121 or call 12134. It would respond with the available different packs, and you would need to select the pack which you need to subscribe to.
