HTC has been launching the best mobile phones in the Windows Phone 7 category, with the earlier ones being HTC HD7, HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Trophy and the HTC 7 Pro. But the list doesn’t end, as the operating system version being upgraded and so the mobile companies keep trying to make things better with the newer devices. HTC Titan is the new entry into the market, which would be having the Windows Phone 7 Mango operating system, and a large 4.7-inch LCD touchscreen display.
Both the internal and external specifications of the phone are excellent and high-end, with the phone having a 1.5GHz processor and the device thickness being at 9.9mm, but the design being almost similar to that of the HTC HD7. With the Windows Phone 7 Mango OS, the multi-tasking has become better and with a heavy processor, the performance should have become a lot better now.
Here are the specifications of the HTC Titan Mobile Phone –
- Screen size of 4.7-inch, LCD Touchscreen display
- Screen 480×800 pixels resolution
- Windows Phone 7 Mango operating system
- 8-Megapixel camera with Dual-LED flash
- 1.5GHz processor and 512MB RAM

The camera of the HTC Titan would be a good one, with 8-Megapixel and 28mm lens, having a Dual-LED flash, back illumination sensor and having a HD quality video recording. Though this won’t be enough, as the Windows Phone devices still lack the front cameras which could have come handy for the video conferencing.
The device would be launched after the official launch of the Windows Phone 7 Mango OS, and that would be probably in the 4th quarter of 2011 or early 2012. As what the few sources say, the price of the HTC Titan in India would be around INR 34000.
