Airtel today collaborated with Google and now these both combined are going to give you free access to Gmail, Google Search and Google Plus without charging anything when you browse these services, and this is only for the Airtel mobile customers. This offer would be available for those who have the smartphones and the feature-friendly phones with them and are using the Airtel network already.

This would be a totally separate section called the Airtel Free Zone where the google search would be completely free, and following are the services which one can have a free access to.

Airtel Free Zone

Gmail: Checking the mail would be free of cost, and accessing the entire inbox of Gmail is. But when you are trying to download any attachments, it would be chargeable and you won’t be charged straight away, and would be redirected to a separate page where it would show you the different options and data packs.

Google+: Under this, the users can check profiles of friends, their posts and photos, and even can share their own photos and status with friends through this free offer.

Google Search: Users can do a Google search and it is still good because the first page from the results can also be accessed for free, while you would have to pay for one of the plans if you wanted to go deeper and browse more pages.

Of course not everything comes for free, but still this is for the first time that we are seeing such options being available for free from Airtel and Google together. Before this, it was Zero Facebook which was a scheme from Facebook where the mobile version of the social network can be used for free. It you are an Airtel subscriber, you can check the Airtel GPRS Plans and Settings before you start browsing the web.
