Aircel has launched the Wi-Fi hotspot service with a few plans where the Aircel Wi-Fi usage can be done through laptops, mobile phones and any Wi-Fi enabled devices. Logging into the Aircel Wi-Fi is not a hard process, where you just need to activate the Wi-Fi in your device and then search for the Wi-Fi hotspot and register there. Here are the steps explained –
Turn on Wi-Fi in your device, i.e. in your smartphone or laptop, if you are in a location where the Aircel WiFi hotspot is available.
- Now search for the available Wi-Fi hotspots, and check if there is a network named “AIRCEL_SPECTRANET” which is the hotspot that Aircel provides at various locations. It is a secured network, so you would see a Lock icon beside the Wi-Fi name.
- Click on that network and then click on “Connect”.
- Once it is connected, you need to open any website so that it takes you to the AIRCEL SPECTRANET where the option to signup would be there. Clicking on the New user sign-up link, you would need to register using your Aircel 10-digit mobile number.
- Once you have entered the phone number, an SMS would be sent to your mobile with an authentication password. Enter that authentication password and you are done. The connection begins and you would be charged on your prepaid balance, or added to the postpaid bill. You can select the package by calling the customer care, and Aircel suggests not to close the page of AIRCEL SPECTRANET while you are browsing the web using the Aircel Wi-Fi.
