In January, we reported that iPhone 3G was the best Camera device on flickr, and not just the best camera phone. That had shown how many 3G users were there then, but now the best Camera phone on Flickr is the iPhone 4 with a steep rise to the top of the graph beating the other camera phones like the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, HTC Evo 4G and the iPod touch. The iPhone 4 would also soon surely beat the Nikon D90 to become the best Camera on Flickr.

About the rankings and graphs on Flickr – These graphs show the number of Flickr members who have uploaded at least one photo or video with a particular camera on a given day over the last year. And if the pictures were edited, cropped and changed in properties, this would not be recognized by flickr, so the rankings don’t include each and every picture uploaded on flickr.
The iPhone 3G had one of the basic cameras in the Apple community then, but the iPhone 4 has come with the 5-megapixel camera and a beautiful imaging that has beaten the other camera phones very well, and the geeky iPhone users never stop clicking the pics and uploading them on Flickr. With the pace of uploads on facebook, the Nikon D90, right now the most popular camera would be surpassed by the iPhone 4 pretty soon.
