Apple has been slow in launching stuff for Indian users, but the tech geeks would be happy that they are not totally ignoring the east. The iPhone 4 was launched last year by Apple but the subscribers in India still don’t have an option to buy the device legally. The iPhone 3G was available to Indians through the Airtel and Vodafone networks at a price of 32k and 36k INR and now the iPhone 4 would also be available this month or the next, through Airtel and Aircel networks.

The expected price of the device is nearly the same at what the 3G devices were sold previously, i.e. based on the memory size of the phone it would be priced at a range of Rs. 32000 to Rs. 36000 and this expectation has got stronger as the price of the iPhone 3G has been reduced to around 30k INR with the expected launch of the iPhone 4 in India pretty soon.

Register for iPhone 4 through Airtel –
You just need to fill this form and Airtel would send you an SMS and email the day when the iPhone 4 is launched. Alternatively you can send an SMS as iPhone to 121 from your Airtel phone and you are registered for the news. With so many cities listed in the dropdown list, one can know that the phone won’t be restricted to few places during the launch.

Register for iPhone 4 through Aircel –
If you are interested to get a touch on the iPhone through Aircel network, you can visit this link and fill the form to get registered for the launch. With Aircel not everyone around the nation would be able to get the iPhone as the registration form too lists just a few cities.

The iPhone 4 is the latest iPhone device by Apple and the upgraded version should be released later this year but the Indian users still have to get a hand officially on the iPhone 4.
